The Nephrology Department specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various kidney problems.It covers all aspects of our clinical discipline including preventive nephrology, acute kidney injury, glomerulonephritis, vasculitis, electrolyte and acid-base disorders, hypertension, genetic kidney diseases, renal complications of pregnancy, kidney stone disease, chronic kidney disease (CKD), kidney transplantation, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and bone disorders related to Kidney disease. We provide primary care to a large group of patients with end–stage renal disease (ESRD) treated with hemodialysis and we have a very substantial peritoneal dialysis program.
